Quincy

Quincy is a male smooth coated Border Collie mix, our best guess is that he is mixed with a beagle. He is approximately 6 – 7 months old.

He is a lot of fun, lots of puppy energy, loves romping with the dogs in his foster home. He is a cuddly, playful boy, enjoys playing with toys, on his own or with people. He is crate trained and settles well. He has made no house training mistakes recently. He has lots of skills to learn, but we have found that he learns very quickly.

He gets on well with other dogs, cats and children are an unknown at this time but we have no reason to suspect there will be any issues. He is uncomfortable when meeting new people, but with patience becomes friends with everyone.

Quincy has recently been brought up to date on all of his vaccinations and dewormed. Clancy is un-neutered at this time but will be neutered before placement.

Suzie

Suzie is a three year old, black and white spayed female with prick ears and a rough  coat. She is a purebred and is ABCA registered. She is NOT a pet store dog, having been purchased from a breeder in Maine.
She weighs apron 38 lbs., her being tall is a bit deceptive. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and preventative medications, and is in good physical shape. She did have Lyme disease and was successfully treated for it.
Suzie was surrendered to us because her family had to move and they couldn't take her with them. She was VERY well treated in her former home and was more than a bit spoiled. She does have a mild resource guarding issue, (food, toys and "her" person), but is easily managed. We will not place her in a home with very young children.
Suzie rides well in the car, and is quiet in the house She has always gotten on well with the pack she now lives with. She loves to play with her basketball and soccer ball. She is crate trained. loves to be with you, and the closer the better. Suzy would probably be best as an only dog or possibly 1 other dog. She is a very lovable and special little girl, are you that special person she needs???
